Giroud doesn’t care about being in the World Cup team despite good form

AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud insists he will not forget to guarantee a place at the World Cup with France, despite his good performances.

         The 36-year-old star has done a great job in his career with “Red Devils – Black” last year scored 11 goals in 29 Serie A games to help the ufabet team win the title. This year, he has scored 8 goals in 17 games in all competitions, most recently scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists as the team defeated Salzburg 4-0 to reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

         Although recently named in the army “Chicken Badge” through the latest UEFA Nations League and did a good job as well. But he insists that he is not selfish that he will be in the squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. 

         “I will not be narcissistic. It’s good because I’ve been chasing for goals in the last few weeks,” Giroud told Canal Plus.

         “We’ll see each other. we will know We will look at the announcement of the list. Like all my teammates we will see It doesn’t depend on me.”

Deschamps has a lot of attacking talent to pick from as well as Giroud, with Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Marcus Thuram, Ousmane Dembélé and Christopher Nkunku to name a few. 

France are the current holders of the World Cup after beating Croatia in the final in Russia in 2018.

Les Blues have an interesting group this time round, with Denmark, Australia and Tunisia all competing in Group D.
